After testing, there were 56 batches of unqualified products with a failure rate of 22%. One of the women’s dresses also detected carcinogens banned by the country. The test results show that there are 56 batches of substandard products, including many well-known clothing brands such as Coach, Boy London, and Neissy.

The surface of human skin is weakly alkaline. If the pH value of the textiles used or worn exceeds the standard, it is easy to break the balance of human skin and bring health risks. In the garment production process, various dyes, auxiliaries and other chemical agents need to be added in the production process such as printing and dyeing. During the finishing process, insufficient rinsing, etc., cause the pH value to deviate from the standard value, resulting in improper acid and alkali in the garment. There are many reasons why the pH value of clothing exceeds the standard. However, after the fabric is printed and dyed, it is not fully washed and dried before leaving the factory. At the same time, no neutralization measures have been taken. This is the main reason for the unqualified pH value. Inferior fabrics will also be identified. The pH value exceeds the standard, so buy new clothes, especially children, infants and young children’s clothing, do not wear them directly, rinse them with water and then wear them.
